  • ▪ “Who loves-ya, baby?” A Sweet Deal or Too Good To Be True? You Decide!

    September 11th, 2006 by markdownmom

Hoodia has been a natural succulent used by the indigenous people of South Africa and recent television programs have documented its effect as an appetite suppressant.  From the Cactus family containing a molecule P57 that acts on the midbrain tricking it to give you a full feeling.  Manufacturers have put this into pill and liquid form and some studies have shown that the liquid form is more effective in curbing appetite.

Power Pops is a candy version that contains hoodia and several other ingredients including a stimulant.  Proponents have put this into a lollipop form since hoodia traditionally has been ingested by licking the plant.  Comes in 12 flavors, 28 calories and 4 carbs each.   Although this appears ideal for those of us with a sweet tooth, nothwithstanding Telly Savalas devotees, there is a question as to whether or not the lollipop provides enough dosage to be effective.

The best test is to try it and see for yourself.  So, MDM has found a site where you can Sample Power Pops for Free.  Click on the site above ^ or the banner below for your free samples.  After trying these, let us know what you think.
