It’s Friday, the end of a long week, and after you get home and comfortable, next comes the question of what to have for dinner. Well, you can always have pizza delivered, but how about a quick, easy, and economical meal that only uses one pan? Here’s MarkdownMom’s One Skillet Meal, easy on the budget and done in 15 minutes or less.
MarkdownMom’s One Skillet Meal
1 Ring of Kielbasa (sausage filled with pork & beef w/garlic & spices)
1 Large Green Bell Pepper
1 Medium Onion
Method: Cut kielbasa ring into 1″-2″ slices, place in a nonstick frying pan on low to medium heat. While sausage is frying, cut bell pepper in half and remove seeds. Slice bell pepper into large strips or chunks. Slice onions into quarter pieces and pull layers apart. Add green pepper and onion to frypan, temp on low to medium low, using the fat released from sausage to caramelize the onion and green pepper until transparent. Serves 2-4 people.
