Probably after taking a real hard look at the miserable retail sales in April, shopping networks are responding with sales and clearance prices on in season merchandise plus spreading out the costs by increasing payments on more than just big ticket items.  These extra pays are sometimes only offered on that day only. 

QVC
Like other shopping networks, QVC to get attention has increased its value pays offerings even on items of $25; however, these items are highlighted for the day and once the day is over so are the "easy pay".  Some items this past week have included a GPS system under $300, with 4 easy pays,  platinum clad stud earrings for $25 with 2 easy pays, and more.   However, special pricing items including extended easy pay usually apply to purchases of those items on that day.

HSN

HSN is wooing their upscale clients with  new designer lines like SCOOP STYLE  by  Stephanie Greenfield,  an apparel line from celebrity Elizabeth Hurley, Poupette, Oliver Peoples Sunglasses, Ben Amun jewelry, and Deborah Evans flip flops, to name a few.  Prices are in the $100’s.   For those that want the top designer look, and those that want the designer look with reasonable prices.  Also take advantage of the flexpay plan if available, but remember to budget for that payment since it’s easy to forget when they come due.  For real bargain hunters, clearance events interspersed in the daily schedule offer inseason savings for regular devotees.

One thing that MDM noticed this season is the extension of last year’s mega tasking of apparel.  Skirts that easily convert to strapless dresses and mini dresses, jackets that turn into shawls, tops, and even belts.  This is especially good for the busy gal or travelers.  For bargain hunter’s check out their "Today’s Special Value," special pricing only available for that day.
