Out And About Before Black Friday
November 24th, 2008 by markdownmom
Well, Markdown Mom has been doing a little shopping. I just tell my spouse that I am doing my part to stimulate the economy. Here are a few gems that you might find of interest:
Sam’s Club: In-store has some very special food offerings. Try their frozen, individually sliced pumpkin cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory®, it’s is simply scrumptious. Also, they have right now the biggest King Crab legs I have ever seen. they are from Russia and run slightly under $13/lb but are humongous! Frozen and I am thinking utterly fabulous for a New Year’s dinner party. Stilton cheese is back again for around $11/lb., online this can run you up to $30/lb. Brie wheels are smaller but the price is right and you can wrap it with pie crust and add your own flavorings for a fantastic buffet, or wine and cheese party. Black Friday, Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS for $98.82-gas will go up, Wii Fit $78.84, and .96ctw. diamond earrings for $692–pricey, but for that keepsake bling, these earrings are spectacular and almost a carat.
HSN: Has The Great Gift Giveaway going to win $125,000 prizes with a grand prize drawing December 5. Kind of a shell game with Holiday packages, no purchase needed. So far, Markdown Mom has won free shipping and $10 off on a purchase of $50 or more. Not bad for Markdown Mom who never wins anything. Shop their clearance for some great buys.
