Life’s Dream: Mucho Bucks, A Chance To Win Life’s Dream: $0.00, Finally Winning A Contest: Priceless!
March 25th, 2008 by markdownmom
Hey, I’m with you –all these contests and not even an also ran prize. Just like today, MDM got a new magazine–kind of like the old Sear’s Roebuck catalog Wish Book, but you know, it’s like this blog you never know what little goodie it will have. So, inside the magazine was this sealed invitation supposedly offering a dinner at David Bouley’s Restaurant in NYC followed by a trip to Paris (ooh, finally use that French degree–I know it’s rusty, but it’s better than nothing). In Paris you would dine with Chef Bouley at his restaurant–priceless! Open the invitation, and you got it, the old "Sorry," even candy bar contests contain that one word that dashes all our hopes. Well, bummed out, go to the site to find out that there are only 2 ways to win:
- Buy an April, 2008 edition of a Conde Nast magazine like Vogue, Sotheby’s Preview, Architectural Digest, the New Yorker, and others and an invitation is to be found within, or
- Send, an SASE to: Julian Schnabel (famous artist) Game Card, P.O. Box 14035, Bridgeport, CT 06673-4035, must be received by May 7, 2008. Game card will be sent to you.
