YAKTRAX  is a handy item to have for Fall, Winter, Early Spring since ice can occur during these periods and a dangerous fall can mean a lengthy recovery.

Sports Authority carries these walker ice grippers in a number of colors including glow in the dark green, orange, and black for 14.97/reg.$19.99.  They also carry a Pro style for $27.99, comes only in black, which has a band that fits across the top of your shoe and would advisedly be the choice for walkers/runners.  Eddie Bauer had a good price on this, but sold-out.  MDM recommends this as an item to get for next year.  As for the sale price, you can wait for a better price especially on the Pro style, but remember these items can sell out in a day.

Great Outdoors Depot prices on yaktrax runs slightly more at $17.99, but the Pro Style is less at $24.99.  Buy 3 or more pairs and get shipping free. Use Coupon Code YSHIPFREE.

Base Gear  has the YX- Pro on sale for $19.99.  Also, check Amazon, and other sources as this is a must for northern states or icey weather.
