Boo-Hoo Sales in October Mean Greater Savings in November
October 31st, 2006 by markdownmomBecause of sluggish sales, the Holiday Shopping Season is being kicked-off earlier than the day after Thanksgiving. Beginning this weekend, vendors like Wal-Mart will be offering sales and savings.
While you are shopping for the Holidays, don’t forget that this is the perfect time to pick-up those ever popular markdowns on Halloween decorations and costumes for next year. Also, candles, ceramic pumpkins, and even cookie cutters are great holdover items, and can even be incorporated into this year’s Thanksgiving decor. The day after is a good time to start, but remember what MDM says:
‘Until it’s a 50% Markdown, it is only a Sale.’
